These manifolds aid precise delivery of fluids into microfluidic devices over a wide range of flow rates

Their use eliminates the need to add sophisticated input/output ports that can be difficult to build to the microfluidic device. Instead, only simple channel openings on the surface of the device are needed for input/output of fluids. Depending on the model, the manifold enables delivery of 3 - 6 independent fluids to different microfluidic channel at the same time. Fluids can be delivered at rates ranging from 0.1 to 1,000 μL/min sustainig pressure to 20 psi (please inquire if operation under higher pressure is required).

The manifold can accept devices of various sizes and thicknesses and requires no special features beyond simple channel openings matching the diameter and spacing pattern of the manifold selected. This substancially simplifies the design of microfluidic devices.

Custom modifications of manifold plates designed to fit a microscope stage are available upon request.

Models made from different materials to provide desired heat and chemical resistanse are available. We offer polycarbonate manifolds to be used with aqueous solutions heated to 90oC or lower. For applications where chemical resistance is required, we offer manifolds with bodies made from Acetal copolymer, PEEK, or PVDF (please see Chemical Resistance Chart).

All manifolds are equipped with silicone o-rings that meet/exceed SAE J200 , xxxx (material) connectors and PEEK tubing.
